The Department of Finance (Finance) is seeking to undertake an Approach to Market (ATM) process to procure Solution Architect Services.
The Policy and Governance Branch within the Shared Services Division is responsible for driving cross-government policy and governance outcomes.
As part of the Government’s APS ERP Approach, the Project Management Office (PMO) has been established in the Policy and Governance Branch to support smaller non-corporate Commonwealth entities to assess ERP uplift requirements and choose solutions that best meet entity needs and budgets.
The PMO will consult with smaller entities to identify those needing a technology uplift and support them to choose a solution that best meets needs and budgets. The PMO will work with entities to prepare a consolidated budget comeback to support the required smaller entity ERP technology uplifts.
The Solution Architect will support the PMO by conducting thorough analyses of functional requirements and match the same to system capabilities. They will facilitate effective communication by translating complex business processes into clear and actionable specifications.
The Solution Architect will excel at system interpretation, providing valuable insights that enable informed decision-making. Their attention to detail, analytical prowess, and ability to identify potential challenges contribute to the overall efficiency and success of project activities, fostering a collaborative and results-driven project management environment.
